Traditional White Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2014
This recipe truly is the best! I braided one loaf, placed it in the bread pan, and brushed the top with a beaten egg before baking...the second loaf was the traditional shape and I brushed it with melted butter before baking...both looked great and tasted even better! I actually forgot to add the salt to the recipe but it wasn't missed.

Lemon Meringue Pie III

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
This was sooo delicious! I have made lemon meringue pies before, but folding the meringue into the lemon filling gives it a whole new, light texture. I followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfect. My husband said it was the best lemon meringue pie he's ever had, and he's very particular so that was quite a compliment. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Frozen Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
This truly does taste like an icecream pie, and it was so easy! My whole family loved it! I used Light Cool Whip, and though I only had 2 ounces of cream cheese it worked out very well. The next time I'll try it with a chocolate cracker crumb crust.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2003
My family loved this recipe! The teriyaki sauce was very simple to make and it was better than store-bought sauces. I usually have all these ingredients in my house so I will make this often! I took the advice of lining the pan with foil and I'm glad I did! Definitely a sauce to use with other meats. Thanks!

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2003
I really liked this recipe, but I did make a few changes which I think made it even better. After I browned the chicken breasts I removed them from the pan and sauteed the mushrooms along with 3 cloves of crushed garlic. I then combined one can of cream of mushroom soup with a cup of marsala wine, then poured the mixture over the chicken I returned to the pan. I let simmer for 15 minutes, and it was the best I ever had.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2003
These were the best blueberry muffins I've ever made and they were very simple to make. I did add a tsp of vanilla as someone suggested and they came out beautifully! Since I didn't have any Pam I greased the muffin tins and floured them as well and they came out of the pan with no problem. I actually did not make the crumb topping because I didn't want the added calories, and they were still terrific. I used medium/large fresh blueberries which worked out well. Thanks for the recipe...it's a keeper!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2003
Just like the reviews said, this was so easy and absolutely delicious! My husband said more than once how good it was and wanted to know how soon I would make it again! I took the advice in one of the reviews and added cut up potatoes and carrots in the crock pot first, placed the roast on top of the vegetables and covered it all with the mixture. I had a 2 lb roast and used both cans of cream of mushroom soup, 1 packet of onion soup mix and 1 cup of water. I added 2 tablespoons of cornstarch an hour before it was done and it was perfect. I cooked it on high for 7 hours. Next time I'm buying a bigger roast! This recipe is a keeper!!!

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2003
Such a simple recipe yet so delicious, and the chicken was very moist and tender. I set aside some of the sauce before marinading the chicken and had it on the side with dinner for dipping. I used a garlic and herb flavored mustard I had and and it worked out great. I also marintated the chicken for a few hours and removed the foil for the last 15 minutes of baking. It's a versatile recipe which you could add many different spices and it would still come out great.

Seafood Salad III

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
I love this recipe! I did use about 1/3 less dressing along with a little more crab meat, but kept everything else the same. I serve it in a pita pocket with shredded lettuce and my husband and I devour it!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
This is absolutely the best salmon recipe I've made! I didn't have any lemon juice so I added some lemon-pepper seasoning I had. Even my 1 year old son loved it! Next time I'm making more!

Absolutely delicious! I cut the sauce recipe in half because it makes so much, but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Loved it!

This pot roast is so moist, so easy and took less time than my recipe in which it's cooked on top of the stove. I will definitely make it again.
