Very good! I will be making it this way from now on! I omitted the red pepper and added the cornstarch as recommended!

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2013
This was my first time making a pecan pie and it came out good. My husband really enjoyed it. I am not a huge fan of pecan pie but there is a lady that makes them locally and they are delish! Hers has more of a buttery taste and less of that gooey filling that I don't care for. Overall it was a simple recipe and the hubby enjoyed it.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
These were the best pancakes I ever had! Loved them. The only thing I did different was used 1 1/2 c milk as suggested because I don't like thick pancakes! I made these for breakfast and lunch per my hubby's request! Delish!

Tex-Mex Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
This was very good. It had a really fresh, authentic taste. Only changes was I left out the oregano and only used half if the black beans because my husband hates them.

Buttermilk Pie IV

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2012
I made this pie today and it was delicious! I reduced the sugar to 1 1/2 cups as suggested and I am glag I did because it definitely would have been too sweet. I used a stick of butter instead of margerine and I reduced the temp to 350 for the first 15 the 325 for 1 hr. It wasn't runny at all, it firmed up nicely. Will definitely make it again!
