Frosted Reindeer Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2013
These were great and easy to make. My 4 and 6 year old girls help me decorate them. I though they were going to be really sweet with the store bought frosting but they weren't at all. I'm glad I didn't go through the trouble of making frosting myself. This will be a new and easy cookie to make as a family.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2013
This is a great side dish. The easiest way to make cheese potatoes. I didnt use onion, just added onion seasoning to cheese sauce. I thought these were just right in flavor. They had just the right amount of cheese flavor and the onion seasoning gives it alittle something if you dont want the pieces of onion. This is good for a family with littleones like myself. Cant wait to make these for other family members. I know they will love them. thanks for the great recipe.

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2013
These are the best!!! Everyone's always loved my brownies which were just out of the box. I came apon the recipe and seemed easy enough to make and now im able to say that I make my brownies homemade. These a great, just enough chocolate and same moist taste. Will never use box mix again. These are my go to dessert. I followed recipe but just half the salt.

Berry Smoothie

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
This is great. I have never found a homemade smoothie I like. My store had a bag of frozen mixed berrie: strawberry, raspberry, blueberries, and blackberries so I used that. It's abit sweet but I'll like that. Most smoothies come out milky. Will be making this very often, thanks.

Bean Soup With Kale

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2013
This was a great and easy soup to make with alot of flavor. I have never cooked kale so was looking for something easy. I used canned tomato that was onion and garlic seasoned and followed recipe from there. This will be a great light soup to make and get some greens in. As other said I simmered for about 30 mins to get great flavor and kale tender. Great soup.

Mini Pineapple Upside-Down Cakes

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
These are great and easy to make. My family loved them and since there bite size they were gone in no time. I love the individual portion n knowing your going to get pineapple pieces and a cherry every time. Was a bit worried since ive never made any type of pineapple upside down cake. But was a piece of cake! p.s. I found it easier using pineapple chuncks rather then having cut down all the sliced pieces.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
This is a must try recipe. The whole family loves this chicken including the kids 3 and 5yrs. My husband couldn't believe what was in it. Best part the ingredients are usually things at have at home. I use dry rosemary because it's on had and you can still taste the flavor. This is my go to recipe when I get tired of the plain grilled chicken my husband loves.

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2012
Theses were pretty good. I liked the smooth texture most homemade cheesecakes are much thicker and not sweet at all. This does have a sweet flavor. I looked at other reviews but decided to stick with the recipe for the first try. I'll agree vanilla wafers don't work to small, may crumble and fill the whole bottom and next time my and some vanilla like other reviews have said. But I will be making these again.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
This was good and had plenty of flavor. I wasn't sure about the sauce never had cordon blue with sauce but it made the dish I'm glad I choose this one over others on the site. Will be making again soon. Do make sure to pound out chicken to cover ham n cheese as much a possible so you don't loose you cheese. My husband had been asking me to make this and said it was a keeper.

Chicken Breasts in Caper Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
This was a pretty good dish. I love chicken and capers. I followed recipe all the way through but when I got to the sauce I felt like it needed a little something so I added some parm cheese and was much better. Have made this several times now just adding the parm and extra capers make it perfect to me. Gives it that Alfredo taste.

Neapolitan Cupcakes

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
These are really good. Think these can look very impressive to serve, the different elements make them nice. I've only made once so far and learned you need to use liners to keep it all together. I didn't make frosting as this is something I haven't learned yet but in the process. Wait for next get together to make these again as all my family loves brownies.

Banana Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2012
Quick to make and a nice little snack. Followed recipe minus lemon zest and they came out pretty good. They have just the right amount of banana not over powering. Next time I may add more walnut 1/2 cup at least and some milk like I've read in other reviews see if they come out a bit more moist. Will be making these very often.

Tuna Melts

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2012
THis was good!! I've never had a tuna melt so i thought I'd try it since I was going to eat tuna for lunch either way. Was good but feel like it needed abit more flavor. I used shredded cheddar and a slice of mozzarella over lettuce to hold in place. Next time I think I need to let it heat up more cheese was melted but middles of sandwich needed abit more to heat through. Will try again w hubby and see what he thinks.

Rich Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
Been using this for two years now. Quick and easy after all the other work you've done. This year my mother in-law asked me to bring packaged gravy mix. And of course with getting everyone ready and taking things I had prepared for our feast i forgot the packages. Then I remember the recipe that I made along with my thanksgiving dinner last year. Had gravy in minutes. Quick easy and homemade not packaged. Use more drippings for better flavor.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: May 28, 2013
This was a great cake. I made this for my mother-inlaws birthday party and everyone loved it. I only gave it a 4 because I used white box cake instead of the recipe because I was making a larger cake and wasn't sure how it would come out. I plan to make this again going through the whole recipe.
