Quite frankly the best cornbread EVER! Supermoist and a perfect companion to Blackeyed Peas, or Chili. I followed instructions and melted butter in skillet, mixed dry ingredients together seperate from the eggs and buttermilk then added all ingredients to skillet and then poured into greased pan. Two changes, I substituted 2/3 cup of instant vanilla pudding for the sugar, and added a dollop more buttermilk. Used Wondra flour, which is our preference. Perfectly sweet, moist and delicious! Absolute keeper.
