Wow! Fantastic & delicious! I made some adjustments of course but this bread came out so hearty that it eats like a meal. Here she goes:
I used 1.5 cups of whole wheat flour instead of white and added:
3/4 cup of quick oats,
1/2 cup of brown sugar instead of white sugar,
1/4 chopped and toasted pecans,
3 egg whites,
1/2 cup of mashed fresh apricots with peel removed
and 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce,
1/3 cup fresh chopped apricots instead of dried,
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
all the other ingredients were the same...
Lovely & yummy bread! Will make again!
