I brought home a rotisserie chicken on a night I didn't feel like cooking and on a whim decided to make soup with the leftovers. After browsing through some recipes, I chose this one. I am glad I did. It is delicious, though like others I made some changes. The ones I most commonly see are the use of low-sodium broth and the addition of carrots (of course! gotta have carrots!). The salt like everyone said was a lot. I used about 1 tsp last time as I halved the recipe and this time I skipped it altogether as I chose to use half a packet of lipton soup mix in lieu of chopping an onion. Yum!
