I love a dirty chai to drink. My husband is my best friend. I am so glad that our kids got my husband's sense of humor! :D I am a full time wife and mommy and love it almost every minute- hey, we're potty training our 2 1/2 year old... I don't love those minutes.

My favorite family cooking traditions
When I have made a dish that we have never tried before but my husband and I have been excited about trying we always make sure we clink our forks/spoons together- as a sort of 'cheers'- and take the first bite together.
My cooking triumphs
The biggest compliment, over my cooking, that I ever received: My sister-in-law told me that my mother-in-law decided to make spaghetti... and tried to duplicate my version!!
My cooking tragedies
Anytime I overcook a steak I want to cry.

Stroganoff Sandwich
I have had this in my recipe box for over a year and just got around to trying it today. Husband LOVED it. I'm a little mad at myself for having waited so long to try this. So so good. I also sauteed some mushrooms which complimented the flavors very nicely. Thank you for this recipe. It is now in our "menu rotation"!

Aggression ( Oatmeal ) Cookies
Husband said these were the best oatmeal cookies he has EVER had. And I agree with him. I cooked them for 12-13 min and they were thin (almost lacy in places) and crispy and delicious. We will be keeping this recipe and making them over and over! Thank you!

Blue Cheese, Spinach Meat Loaf Muffins
I was a little worried that my kids (6yo & 2 1/2yo) would turn up their noses at the blue cheese but I was so pleasantly surprised how mild the blue cheese flavor was. The marriage of flavors here were delicious and my husband proclaimed it his favorite meatloaf ever. I used 2lbs of ground beef and there was enough meat to fill all 6 large muffin tins and 6 regular sized muffin tins - which were perfect sized for the kids. Both muffin trays cooked together in the oven for the 30 minutes specified in the recipe. We will be making this one again very soon!!
