Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
I followed the recipe to the T, yet they were cakey. I would have preferred a more chewey, chocolatey, fudgey brownie. But as a chocolate cake it was not bad. I liked how healthy it was, and the kids had no idea.

MY FAMILY LOVED THIS! I did up the spices like other people said and I also lessened the liquid. I added way more veggies...cauliflower, acorn squash, zukkini, raisins, carrots, potatoes, and chickpeas. im making it again tonight with lamb! thanks!

Caramel Frosting I

i used this on a chocolate bunt cake as a glaze. it was sinful. i took the advice of others and lessened the powdered sugar while doubling the other ingredients. thanks!

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
it was really easy to make. the only thing is it came out a bit too sweet. but i think its the chocolate that i used. either way...this is a recipe keeper cause of how easy it was to make. i made a bundt cake that kind of ruined when i took it out of the mold. the chocolate sauce along with powdered sugar totally saved the day. you couldn't even tell there was anything wrong with the cake! thanks

Chocolate Pound Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
I thought the cake was great. It was moist and chocolaty. The only problem was that it got stuck in the mold. but that was probably my fault. i over filled it...and cooked it too long....at a really low temp. even though i greased and floured the tin first. i did add a dusting of powdered sugar as well as chocolate sauce. the chocolate sauce made it too sweet. but everything that went wrong was really my fault and no fault of the recipe itself...and that is why im giving it 5 stars. thanks a bunch!

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
if you are in the mood for a chocolate overdose..this is the cake to eat. it was more like a brownie than a cake. i made it in a bundt pan. it was very moist and very dense...but bery good! i topped it with powdered sugar and some melted giardhelli chocolate. i also took the advice of the other reviewers and put coffee in it. i will definately make again for when im having a bad chocolate craving

Stuffed Mushrooms with Swiss Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2004
My husband said they were better than the ones they make in the restaurant! 12 were not enough! I used portabella mushroom, because they have the most flavor. I didn't have parsley, so I didn't add it and it still came out very nice. I also took the advice from the other reviews and added 1 tbls bread crumbs and lots of garlic with the onion mixture. Next time I am going to experiment with adding parmesan cheese to the onion mixture. Thank you so much, this one is a definite keeper.

Easy Quiche

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2004
This was my first time to make a quiche. So I cannot rate it in compared to other quiches, but as to itself, I think its great. Although I did add dried basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and seasoned salt. I also added grated gouda, and swiss cheese as oposed to the chedder. I think I will definitely try this one again. Thanx!
