Carrot Cake III

My first time making a from scratch carrot cake and it was a hit, everyone loved it! I made it as a round layer cake and had just enough frosting.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Loved it!!! Didn't have minced garlic, so I used garlic powder. Will try with the minced next time. Love that I finally found a cauliflower recipe that my husband will eat.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

This was really pretty tasty. I did not boil my chicken. I cut it into bite sized pieces and sautéed it with some fajita seasonings. I also cooked the onion with the chicken. We will definitely make this again. Maybe next time we will add a can of mexicorn or drained black beans to the rice mixture.

Chicken Tikka Masala

This recipe would be much better without the tablespoon of salt in the sauce! Should have read the reviews saying to hold the salt, but thought the recipe would be better with 4.5 stars. Will try again with less salt. Liked the chicken off the grill.

Fruit Pizza I

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Made a whole lot of muffins. Not very sweet. I added brown sugar to the tops of the second batch to add a little sweetness to them. Not sure how I could have added more blueberries as my muffins were overflowing with the 2 cups.

Candied Carrots

I am not a carrot eater, but wanted to make something that wasn't too carroty in flavor. This recipe was wonderful. We used tiny baby carrots that were packaged "microwavable carrots" in the produce section of our supermarket. They were smaller and thinner than normal baby carrots. They were the perfect size for our family, including our one year old.

Zeppole

Awesome! I had never tried these before. Was just looking for a way to use up some ricotta I had left over from making lasagna. For me it was like eating little pizelles in ball form. Next time I think I will try to use either anise extract or almond. That would make them even tastier. Will definitely me making these again!

Honey Bun Cake I

I love this recipe! I have made it twice already and have actually had requests for it. It tastes wonderful, even if it looks strange. I had a hard time covering the cinnamon mixture, but it turned out just fine.

Chocolate Butter-Creme Frosting

Oh my goodness!!! This frosting is awesome! I am so glad you posted this recipe. I had to double it for my cake(double layer round). I used it to frost my chocolate mayonnaise cake. I think I have found THE recipe for birthday cakes!!! Thank you!

Hoagie Bake

This was pretty good. I used bologna, ham, mozzerella and pepper jack cheese. Very similar to a local bakery favorite. My husband wasn't too keen about me using bologna, but that is what I had. My only issue is that the top crust seemed a little gooey. Cooked it exactly the way we should've. Not sure if it was because of the cheese or that the top was not done.
