About this Cook
I am a caregiver for special needs people. I have six children and six grandchildren.(With 2 on the way,as of this writing). And one loving and supportive hubby, who loves my cooking! He and I can often be found having cooking wars!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook anything country! Comfort food ROCKS!!!! I also love Italian! I'm always trying new recipes and new techniques.
My favorite family cooking traditions
As I said, my husband Mitch and I are always cooking together. Either on the grill or in the kitchen,we have a blast! Also my older children have to be at my house every holiday! And they all have their own specialties they want me to cook. Some of them are even learning to make these recipes to keep the tradition going!
My cooking triumphs
One of my proudest moments is when I graduated from catering school and now hold a diploma as a caterer and personal chef! I am excited about my new career and am able to put my love of cooking to good use!
My cooking tragedies
One of my first catering jobs was almost ruined when the pork I cooked did not yield the amount that I needed for the womans order. I had 30 minutes to find someone who had more already cooked pork to make up the amount! We found someone just in time to save the order.

Our Favorite Balsamic Vinaigrette
I made this recipe and loved it! I also used a high quality balsamic that I purchase at Olive U Naturally in Prescott Az! It's an 18 year Balsamic and very yummy! Wouldn't change a thing about this one! It's a keeper! Thanks MATTSBELLY!
