Eagle Brand® Chocolate Truffles

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
I agree with Rochele99. Very so-so. I was hoping the eaglebrand would sweeten it more. I decided not to use them for the party.

Vinegar Based BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2011
I am so glad to finally have this recipe!! I haved been hooked on this stuff for decades at the mercy of the bbq joints. I cooked a Boston butt in the crock pot all day, but only added salt, ground black pepper, about a tbsp of brown sugar and a cup of vinegar for cooking. I have a spice hater at the table, so I mixed the sauce when I started the roast and served it only as a side sauce. The pork was delish with just the mild vinegar, but goes insane good with the kick! Thank you for sharing this awesome favorite!!

Ooey Gooey Breakfast Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
I actually messed up and bought the precooked frozen dinner rolls, Sister Schubert's. Otherwise I followed the recipe, only skipping the dough work, and using a 9x9. I would still give it 5 stars even with my errors! About 3 minutes of prep time, and I only cooked it for 20-25 min with these rolls, and gooey deliciousness! Next time I'll try the right way, but I dig the speedy perks of the wrong way.

Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
We loved the recipe as written, but over time it has evolved to perfection for us. Following the advise of others, I use a pinch of baking soda, a few shakes of salt, 1 cup brown sugar and the remaining 1/2 cup in white, only 1 tsp vanilla, and replace the nuts with extra chocolate chips. Last time I used 3/4 c chocolate chips and 3/4 cup butterscotch chips...yum! Haven't tried dipping them yet, because I think they are perfect as is, and I find almond bark to be much too waxy when frozen. I love this recipe!!

Waffles I

Reviewed: May 13, 2012
Was ok. My son is used to waffles made from buttermilk pancake mix, but I wanted improvement. I really don't feel these were an improvement. He obviously didn't either, since he didn't want to finish a single waffle. Usually he'll down 2-3. Bland flavor and wished they were crispier on the outside. I will keep looking.

Rich Butterscotch Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2011
I will be making these often and for everyone! So amazingly delicious! The butterscotch crust is genius and devine. Next time I'm going to try making an extra 1/2 batch of just the crust, so I'm not hunting thru the bars for the best ones with the most crust :-) And I may try the pecans on top, instead of mixed in the cream cheese, just because I didn't like how they softened and swelled. So happy to have found this recipe...thanks for sharing!

Crunches

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
Wow! I'd forgotten how good these were. I used honey bunches of oats and it added interest. Instead of the messing cookie drop system, I dumped it all on a wax paper lined cookie sheet and flattened it down fairly even. I popped it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes, then just broke it into pieces. It is rich, but that's exactly how we like it!

Candy Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
We loved this, and I would give it five stars if the baking time weren't so far off. I adjusted the recipe and bake time after reading reviews. Used one whipped stiff egg white, 1 cup brown sugar packed, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 & 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp butter extract and 4 cups pecan halves. Spread it out onto non stick foil, baked 10 minutes. As it is extremely gooey at first, I stirred and dumped it all onto a new sheet of non stick foil before returning to oven. Baked 20 more minutes stirring after the first 10. They came out perfect after a full 30 minutes at 275 degrees. Cooled slightly, dumped onto wax paper to finish cooling and broke apart clumps before they hardened. Then I jarred them and fancied up the jars with ribbon and gift tags for delicious Christmas gifts. May be our new holiday gift tradition! Irresistible!!
