Colorful Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
I absolutely loved this chowder! The only thing different I did was to add more pepper and extra potato flakes to thicken it more. I will try the added bacon to it next time as suggested. This is definitely a comfort food.

Healing Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
Oh my! This is excellent! The only differences I made were to cut up some baby carrot (as suggested) that I had in the fridge, 3 stalks of celerey, 6-14 1/2 cans of broth and a whole head of cabbage. I used a can of Italian seasoned diced tomatoes. I'm eating it right now and on my second bowl. It is delicious!!! I left the seasoning the same. What a great recipe!

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2005
This was realy awesome! Even the kids liked it! I did have to add more water because it was too thick. I'm definitely trying this one again and will use a qt. of beef broth instead of water and bullion. Great recipe!!!

Jalapeno Chicken

Reviewed: May 21, 2003
I had a friend over for dinner when I made this and it came out great! Chicken was moist and tasty. Sauce did not thicken, I even let it cook down some. I'm making it again tonight and will try the suggestion of cornstarch and water. I also increased the jalapeno to one whole. Thanks so much!

Chili I

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2003
This chili is great! Everybody I gave it to just loved it! The only changes I made were I used ground turkey instead of beef to cut back on the fat. Lots of ingredients give it a unique flavor. Definitely a winner!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2003
I amde this recipe yesterday and we all just love it! The tortilla chips really give it an extra bite. The only thing different that I added was an onion, chopped and used a 10-ounce pkg. of Perdue pre-cooked chicken breast meat. I'll definiely make this again!

Broccoli Beef I

I thought this recipe lacked any flavor. It was very bland. I won't make again. AllyMcFan

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2002
This is so good! I've made this recipe a couple of times and everyone just loves it. I substitute half of the oil with apple sauce to cut down on the fat and walnuts for a little crunch. 10/18/09 I still make this a couple of times a year and it's always a winner!
