Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2014
I use butter- not margarine, 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar and usually about 5 bananas. This one is a favourite!

Cream of Cauliflower Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
Very good! The only ingredients I changed were I used 4 tbsp salted butter, 8 cups chicken broth, and 1 cup half and half cream instead of 1 cup each of milk and cream. I prepared all up until adding cream as directed the night before. The next morning I put the pureed soup in a crock pot and added the cream then and let it sit on low all morning for a work luncheon and had shredded cheese(I used med. cheddar) available on the side. I thought no need for any other spices other than tarragon and thyme, and the wine gave it a great flavour too.

Chicken Casserole Del Sol

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2004
A big hit! Used some of the other reviews to help as I was out of a couple ingredients. Frozen beans, 1 can cream of checken and 1 cream of mushroom instead worked great! Also I used FETA and a bit of Romano cheese and Sourdough Croutons. This recipe is great to vary ingredients!

Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts I

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2004
I usually soak water chestnuts in low sodium soya sauce briefly. ( if they are too large I cut them in halves. and only wrap with enough bacon to wrap around water chestnut once. ) Teryaki was a nice change !
