Strawberry/Rhubarb Crumb Pie

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
I followed some of the other tips and cut the sugar back to 3/4 cup, added 1 Tbsp cornstarch, and cut the butter back to 6 Tbsp. The taste is awesome, but the bottom of my crust was soggy. I'll definitely par-bake the crust next time. I wonder if it makes a difference if you use a glass or metal pie plate...

Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce III

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
I was very disappointed with this recipe. I had to cook it way longer than 45 minutes and it was still gooey. And the sauce was way too strong. The part that I did eat was tasty so I gave 3 stars. Also I didn't know what a "medium" baking dish meant. I used a 9x13 and it was full. I always thought 9x13 was large.

This was my first time making fudge and it came out PERFECT! I also made it on a really humid day, so don't worry about the weather on this one!

AMAZING!!! I took these to a large party with lots of food and these were the first to go. I did cook them for about an hour though. I like my bacon crispy.

Ham Roll Ups I

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I LOVE ham rolls and I like horseradish too but the combination was strange. The recipe made a lot and I had a lot left over. I think next time I might just spread them with some french onion dip.

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
The taste was great, but pouring the sauce over it made all the sauce sink to the bottom. After it cooled the top of the bread was too chewy to eat. My father used to make it and he would dip each piece into the butter and cinnamon/sugar. I think it might come out better that way.

These were FABULOUS! I just made them and ate them the same night and they were great. I also added a little bit of garlic powder. (Gotta have garlic!)

Wonton Wrappers

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
These turned out really good. Just make sure you roll them out REALLY thin, otherwise you won't get the crispy texture.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2002
For those who are looking for an alternative topping to whipped cream, try using caramel syrup. You can get it at the grocery store by the ice cream toppings. Smuckers has the best. It adds the perfect taste and texture.
