About this Cook
I love to cook. I just got the best gift ever a red Kitchen Aid Mixer and now I am baking and cooking all the time. I love my mixer.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything as long someone will eat it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I remember making biscuits from scratch with my mom and sisters and making a mess and playing in the flour.
My cooking triumphs
Macoroni and Cheese from scratch I can not seem to get it right.
My cooking tragedies
I doubled a coffee cake recipe to make two cakes at once and the batter ended up being to thick and did not cook evenly.

All American Apple Pie
This is a great recipe! I added a 1/2 cup of brown sugar and used a 1 cup of l cup of flour and the crumb topping was so good. I also used the lemon juice recommended by another reviewer. The pie was so good by niece and my boyfriend requested I make two more!!!

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake
I totall loved this recipe and I made two and took them to work and nothing was left but crumbs. I did learn that a bundt pan works much better. Everyone thought it was bought and not made home made. I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
