OH MAN! SO GOOD! When I make these kinds of recipes, I slice and then precook the kielbasa for a few minutes in the microwave. (Drain the grease off before putting it into the sauce.) It really reduces the amount of fat in the sauce. I did only use one pound of kielbasa but could have used 1 1/2 pounds. Also, I served this with rice and put a bit of the sauce over it. There was almost none left for my family of four.

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Angie's Dad's Best Cabbage Coleslaw

Very very good! I substituted the sugar with sweet n low (for a lower carb version.) This is much like my mum-in-law's recipe but you do not boil the mixture for hers. In my opinion, boiling it helps the cabbage take on the taste of the dressing.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Was a great change from the ordinary...will definately make this again. I used 6 boneless pork chops instead of the roast. Also, out of necessity, used half of the soy sauce and a dash of worchestershire sauce.

Apple Crisp

YUM!!! Only changed one thing out of necessity...used oatmeal instead of pecans. Oh, and used apple pie spice, about 1/2 tsp or so. Very good and easy.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Tasted like greek...but too acidic for me, also, I even used same ratio oil and vinegar and added 2 tsp sugar! I will be making this again but plan on using balsalmic vinegar next time. Thanks for the recipe!!

Grandma's Homemade Banana Bread

Wonderful!! But, oooo so....sweet! Of course my kids LOVE it, but a little too much sugar, I suggest cutting it in half! But it was so moist! I used sour cream instead of the milk, threw it all in the food processor and blended, also, I added 1/4 cup of butter. I will definately make this again w/ the modified sugar and it will then be a 6!!! YUM YUM :)

French Bread

Excellent! I used my bread machine for the beginning of the recipe (makes a lot less work) and it worked out just fine. I did not need the entire amount of flour. I suggest decreasing it by 1/2 cup. Also, I steamed the bread for the first 15 minutes of baking by putting ice cubes on a cookie sheet on a lower rack. My husband is a bread guru and just kept saying "delicious." He ate 1/2 of a loaf by himself. Chewy, cruchy, beautiful...YUM!

Best Carrot Cake Ever

This was okay...followed the recipe to a tee but the cake turned out a little heavy and chewy. Just did not have a light cake texture at all. I know carrot cake is always a little heavier...but not like this. A little disappointed in myself and in the recipe?? But, it is good the next day and it does have a good taste! We will be eating it, but will not make it again.

Sugar Cookie Drops

These were wonderful!! Like everyone else, I was skeptical about the so very soft dough in the beginning. I also added 2 tsp vanilla instead of one. I did not have butter and used parkay intead also, I ran out of sugar so I rolled them in powdered sugar before baking ang flattened them with the bottom of a glass. I put colored sugar sprinkles on them, my kids ate a ton! Also, I sprinkled cinnamon on the top of a few, those were my favorites! Despite my changes, these were still great, will be making them again!!

Crawfish Linguine

I really loved this! BUT...I cut the butter in half and had to thicken the sauce, just stayed a little too watery...also cut out the green onions. Loved the parsley in it! I have made this about 3 times now and my kids love it...I love it...

Maryland Crab Cakes I

My husband LOVED these (once he dipped them in butter.) Says they were the best crab cakes he has ever eaten. Unfortunately, they fell apart, even after an extra egg. (That is why the 4.) If it wasn't for that, they would have been a 5. Also, I cut the Old Bay in half so it did not over power the crab.
