Baked Corn

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
I tried this tonight and it was so yummy! I did not drain the corn which was suggested by others who have tried this recipe before. I also used 3/4 cup sour cream instead of 1/2 cup. Very very good.

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
I made this for dinner tonight and everyone really liked it. I used canned biscuits because I didnt have all the stuff to make the homemade kind. I just dumped the mixture over top and it was pretty yummy. I also cut all the veggies in small pieces and used frozen peas instead of canned (this was suggested by others who made this recipe before.) Great recipe thanks for sharing!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
I made this for dinner tonight & it was very very yummy!! Next time I make this I will double it. I used a rotisserie chicken and just added some cajun seasoning and sauteed for a couple mins. I also used a bag of frozen peppers which included red, yellow, and green peppers (this was suggested by others who made this recipe before). Next time I will add more mushrooms because we really enjoy them and they were yummy in the pasta. Definitely will be making again.

This was excellent!!! My husband said it was resteraunt quality. The only thing different I did was added a little more ham. Probably a little over a cup instead of 3/4 cup. I also didnt add any salt, this was recommended by someone else who tried the recipe. I also continously stirred the sauce. This is so yummy!!

Sweet and Sour Drumettes

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Here are some changes I made to the recipe as suggested by others who have tried this recipe previously. I used about 1/3 cup of white sugar instead of 1 cup and I added 1/3 cup of honey, 1 tbl of cornstarch, (many people were saying how the sauce was not thick enough & were suggesting the honey and cornstarch to thicken it) & 1 tsp of red pepper flakes. I also did not use any water. My kids loved these!!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
Excellent recipe!! Very yummy. My husband likes a thicker sauce so I don't add any water to the tomato soup. I also like to top the peppers with a little bit of cheese. This has become a family favorite. Thanks for sharing!!

I made this tonight & wow, this was yummy. I simmered it for 8 hours. I also was out of cayenne pepper and instead used a pinch of red pepper flakes and probably used about 1tsp of salt. Very yummy. This is the first time I made it and I was impressed. Great recipe.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
This recipe was Awesome!!!!! Here are some changes I made to the recipe (these were suggested by others who have made the recipe before). I doubled the amount of bacon. In step 3 after returning the bacon back to the pan and adding the spaghetti, I then added 3/4 of heavy whipping cream (at room temp) and 1/4 tsp of nutmeg stirring until mixed. Then I mixed the 4 eggs and 1/4 parm together before adding to spaghetti & bacon mixture. also didnt add any extra salt of pepper. It tasted great the way it was. I didnt add any parsley at the end because I didnt have any but I'm sure it would be yummy. This was a huge hit & maybe a new favorite!!

Oregon Salmon Patties

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
These were so awesome!! Here are some changes I made to the original recipe. These are suggestions I took from others who had made this recipe. I added a large clove of (chopped) garlic to the onions.( or 1tsp of already prepared garlic) 1/2 cup of crushed crackers in the mix instead of 2/3, 1 tsp of Dijon mustard for the dry, dried parsley for fresh. I added about 1/4 tsp dried dill also. I thought the dill gave it a wonderful flavor. I also made these and refrigerated them in the morning and the fried them in the evening. You can also make them the night before and put them in the fridge. So Yummy!!!
