Fajita Seasoning

I used the recipe as written with 4 medium-large chicken breasts. I followed the cooking directions that "Arvan" suggested in his/her review, except I used only the amount made by one recipe with 4 chicken breasts, about 3/4 of a bell pepper I had on hand, and a small onion. It was delicious, but next time I would use a full bell pepper and a larger onion. You could probably use 5 medium sized chicken breasts with this amount. Better than a store-bought packet for sure!

Chicken with Quinoa and Veggies

I cooked exactly as stated in the recipe, and it was pretty good. Oh, I did do one thing different, I used 3 tsp. dried basil because it all I had. It was very basil-y, and not as savory as I thought it would be. But it was good enough to make again. Next time I will add salt, pepper, and/or Tony Chachere's. My favorite thing was that it was healthy.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Amazing! I did make a few of the changes others suggested: 1)Swap 3 cans of paste for one can of paste + a 15 oz. can of sauce. 2)Use 2 cups water instead of one. 3) Use only 2 T sugar. I also used 2 bay leaves and added Cajun seasoning. You can also use dried oregano and parsley, just reduce to 4 tsp. instead of 1/4 cup. Ok, so that does sound like a lot of changes. But it turned out so good - with these changes it would definitely get 5 stars. It was a little blander as written. I will never buy jarred sauce again. The meatballs were perfect as written.

Bacon Chicken and Dumplings

I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out really well! It basically tastes a lot like potato soup with chicken and corn in it. Maybe kind of like a chowder, but I'm not really a chowder expert. A few extra slices of bacon couldn't hurt, and make sure you season well. Warm, comforting food that the kids enjoyed too.

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Pretty solid roast recipe. I did rub the meat with steak seasoning, black pepper, and garlic powder and browned it in a pan with olive oil before putting in crock pot. I cooked on low for 6 hours and veggies were still crunchy. So I put it on high for another 2 hours and it was perfect. Really tender and not at all bland. This did not make much gravy, so if you like a lot of liquid-y gravy you might want to consider that. But I thought it turned out great.

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Delicious! I was out of white wine and squirted in some lemon juice instead. This had just the right amount of creaminess and seasoning for us. I think it would be good with chicken too.
