Irish Cream Creme Brulee

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2013
I followed this recipe exactly and it was amazing. Honestly, I would much rather have this homemade creme brûlée than any of the restaurant ones I've tried.

Chicken Pot Pie IV

Reviewed: May 9, 2011
I've made chicken pot pie countless times using this recipe and it's always been delicious. I recommend adding peas or some other smaller vegetables so that there's more fillers between the chunky pieces of meat, carrots, and broccoli. I also like to lightly satay the chicken breast chunks with some seasoning beforehand so that it doesn't taste too bland in the pie. Those that have tried this pie really enjoy it. It's much better than the ones you get from restaurants! I do heavily recommend making your own crust. If you really don't have the time, get the Pillsbury one. I've made mini pies using homemade crust and Pillsbury crust and my fiance could tell the difference. He always prefer the homemade crusts!

Bacon-Roasted Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
YUM YUM YUM! :) I made a few changes to this recipe and followed the advice of fellow cookers by placing the bacon on top of the chicken instead of wrapping it around. I've tried wrapping it around before with a different recipe and the result was very soggy bacon on the bottom that grossed me out. I also used normal potatoes and sprinkled cheese on them for additional flavor. This was delicious! My only complaint is that it tastes pretty gross as left overs so only make enough for one meal!

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
I used baby back ribs and Phils BBQ sauce. :) It was absolutely delicious although I'm sure it could've tasted even better barbecued! I boiled it for ~50 minutes and placed it in the oven for 1 hr 20 minutes. This recipe is very delicious especially served with corn.

Peach Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
If I could give this recipe 6 stars, I would. It tasted fantastic! However, I did make the following changes to suite my taste more: 1/2 cup of sugar only no vanilla For the peaches, I used white peaches fresh from my peach tree which were succulent and sweet. The pie was baked first at 400 degrees for 15 minutes and then at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. The result tasted similar to that of Asian egg tarts but with the addition of many sweet peaches! I loved this recipe which is saying quite a lot considering I usually dislike pie! :)

Japanese Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2014
This is my official go to recipe for chicken wings. The only thing I changed was using vegetable oil instead of butter. It's so delicious and everyone loves it. I've had 8 different people try it so far and they all think it's amazing. You can't go wrong with this recipe. It's easy and it will get you compliments.

Strawberry Yogurt Pie I

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
This pie turned out beautiful but that was about it. It's a hassle in that if you don't finish the pie right away, it turns into this nasty mush. The flavor is very mediocre. It's like eating strawberry with whip cream which is pretty much all that this is. I only give it 3 stars because of how pretty it was.
