Caramel Apple Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2013
Every time I make this recipe I make double because it gets wiped out fast! From toddlers to the seniors they all love it. To give it extra caramel flavor I just add more caramels than recipe calls for. Definitely a favorite!

Crab Stuffed Flounder

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
This is a pretty good recipe. The first time I made it turned out better than tonight. lol. I did add some Tony Cachere's and a tsp of green onion to the crab mixture to add more flavor and doubled the worch sauce. I also used the smaller pan idea, and it worked well.

Pork Fried Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2008
Loved it! Yes we tweaked it:) The recipe was set for 2 servings, so I changed it to 4 servings. What we (husband and I) did was left out the broccoli and the peas (hubby is picky) only used 1 green onion and 3tbsp of canola oil instead of butter. Also we used Basmati rice, 1/2 tsp of garlic pwdr, 1tbsp sesame oil and 1/2 tsp of salt. Oh and we left everything in the wok as we cooked. This was incredible and we already have made it several times! Thank you Peggy!

Cooking Light magazine's Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2005
I made this recipe last nite for my husband (we had valentines day early) and he was totally impressed! And so was I! I used Zesty Italian croutons (Pepperidge Farms) crumbled in the processor for breadcrumbs and used the whole jar of spaghetti sauce (Emirl Homestyle Marinara) because i forgot to look at the recipe. Even with my too much spaghetti sauce mess up, it was absolutely delicious!! This recipe was very easy and quick to make. Chicken Parmesan along with candles and piano music makes a great evening!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2005
My husband, me and the rest of my family love this recipe! Its easy and delicious. In place of the regular onion soup, I used Lipton beefy onion soup. I also added more water and 1 or 2 beef bouilloin cubes (we like lots of gravy). Absolutely great recipe!

My dad practically adores these cookies. They remind him of his school days. This must be a pretty old recipe.

I wouldn't call it a slush, but it was very good. My husband loved it and added more coconut cream (I used Coco Lopez, too). Very good will make again!

Ladyfinger Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2002
Excellent cheesecake and easy! When the store runs out of ladyfingers (because I waited too long to get them), I just use decorative cookies. Very pretty on the dessert buffet also! I made one for church and people were asking for the recipe. Only remember to put wax paper on the bottom because the crust stuck to the pan and no one cut deep or hard enough to know there was a crust. But they still raved about it!
