Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2013
I had to make a lot of changes per the comments...but it was a good place to start.

Famous Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
Yum...this dish makes me so happy, feels like I'm eating my mom's homecooking. I just added equal parts (1/4c each) of low sodium soy sauce, white vinegar, and water to the browned chicken/onion/garlic. SO GOOD!!! Will definitely add this to the regular dish list!!!

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2004
...I thought the glaze would help add flavor but it turned out so bland! It was definitely greasy and lacked flavor. Don't think I'll be using the recipe again. :(

Good dip, but it did turn out a little dry.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2004
It was all right...I did omit the potato chips, used fresh mushrooms, canned peas, and 1 can cream of celery instead of 2 cans cream of mushroom. It tasted fine, but not exactly a new favorite. Lacks flavor.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2003
YUMMY! These are excellent cookies...they were gobbled up FAST! I had to bake mine longer than 10 min...but it could be my weird oven or the new baking sheet. This recipe is definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing, Beth.

Breaded Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2003
Good recipe...pork came out tender, flavor was definitely there. I may have added too much though, as the oregano was slightly overpowering for my taste. (I also added Italian seasoning, garlic powder, & onion powder). I uncovered pork for last 5 minutes, turned up the temperature to 375, then broiled for a few minutes at the end. The crust was not soggy nor crunchy. Thanks for sharing, Danielle.

Fettuccine with Sweet Pepper-Cayenne Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2003
I was disappointed with this recipe...it didn't turn out as well as I thought it would. The sauce was runny and the cayenne pepper was overpowering the other flavors. Thanks anyways.

Cheddar Pennies

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2003
I wasn't very impressed either...I tried to cut the recipe in half so maybe that was part of the problem. But it was way too dry without the added water and not as tasty as I thought they would be. Like other reviewers suggested, adding other spices probably would have helped. Thanks for sharing, though.

Simply Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2003
I used Italian bread crumbs AND Italian seasoning...I was worried it might be overwhelming but it was absolutely delicious. So easy to make and full of flavor! The recipe proportions were perfect for the amount of chicken. This will definitely become a regular dish. Thanks for sharing, Jenny.

Sugar Cookie Frosting

It is a great, basic recipe. My brother's girlfriend couldn't get enough of it! I also cut the recipe in half and it was more than enough for about 3 dozen cookies. Thanks for sharing, Kathy!

Cuban Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2002
I only cooked it for 25 minutes and it turned out a little too mushy. I'm not quite sure what happened... Otherwise I wish I would have added some more spices/flavor. The aroma was great, but the flavor was a little bland. Maybe next time! Thanks for sharing, Chris.

Hot Artichoke Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2002
I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with the end result. It wasn't as flavorful or cheesy as I would have liked but I did use asiago cheese instead of the called for romano. Maybe next time!

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2002
YUM YUM!!! This recipe was exactly what I was looking for, just like the Pasta Milano at Macaroni Grill. It was absolutely divine! Next time I will make more sauce (with more garlic!) and maybe use less chicken. This is now one of my favorite recipes. Thanks Holly!

It was a little bland...seemed to be missing something. Maybe garlic, onions, or other spices. Not bad, but not the greatest. But thanks for sharing!
