Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

This soup is the best I've had. Like in the restaurants! Very easy to make also. I did change a few things. I added 4 bouillon cubes and 6 cups of water and boiled the chicken in that. Removed the chicken and chopped. Then I sauted celery, onion, garlic and carrots in the butter. Then added the flour mixture to that to make the roux then added to the rice and bouilion mixture. Then added the chicken back in.

Chicken Enchiladas I

These were excellent! My whole family enjoyed them. I followed the recipe exactly but omitted the water. Will be making these again soon.

Blue Cheese Dip II

Awesome dip! Noone really tried it at the party. I don't know if they new what it was and there was so much other food! Although we did eat it for the next 3 days, and it is so addicting!! I also added 1/2 tsp. cayenne, I love spicy food. Also ate leftovers on a ham sandwich and was awesome also. I am going to make another batch and try as dressing, with buffalo wings and celery. Best dip I've ever tasted! Great also with crackers!

Garlic Creamed Chicken

The whole family enjoyed! My 5 year old loved it! I did change a couple things. I doubled the garlic. I put some chicken seasoning and sprinkled about 1/2 grated parmesan cheese over chicken before pouring on sauce. I also covered about 1/2 through baking since sauce seemed a little thick. Next time I will add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of chix broth or white wine to sauce mixture. Will definatley make again!!

Brown Sugar Smokies

Made 1 pound marinated overnight in brown sugar like other suggested and 1 pound just sprinkled with brown sugar since I didn't have the full amount of brown sugar the evening before. I mixed them together on the pan and added additional brown sugar on top. Needless to say they all went fast! Even though all mixed together, I think marinating overnight then sprinkling before baking is the best. I also baked about 45 minutes to get crisper. Will do again, definitely~!

Baked Pork Chops I

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Just found this new web site a couple weeks ago and love it! Made these for my son's birthday party this past weekend and had to print off some copies of the recipe for some guests to take home, needless to say there weren't any left after the party. Used the extra pumpkin to make pumkin pancakes the next morning, also on this web site, with maple sauce and they were also excellent! Thank you!
