Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
I made these without a bread machine, and halved the recipe. I added the yeast to the warm milk, mixed everything together but the flour, and then incorporated that and needed until it was smooth and elastic. I also let it rise, rolled it out into buns, and put it in the fridge overnight. In the morning, I let it sit out for an hour or so and then baked. They were delicious. Definitely listen to the baking time if you want it to still be a bit dough-y, like a cinnabon is. I baked mine a bit longer and that is the only thing I would change if I made them again. The icing was amazing.

Delicious, I even used fat free sour cream and egg substitute (but real butter) and it was great.

Wheat Germ Whole-Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
I used egg substitute and white whole wheat flour (King Arthur) and these were great. Light and fluffy, not dense. Added vanilla and cranberries as well, good basic healthy pancake recipe

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2005
I made this with regular cool whip instead of whipped cream and only used 3/4 cup of confectioner's sugar. I thought it was delicious, very light and had a whipped texture but still had that cream cheese taste. It was perfect, not as heavy as the normal frosting on a carrot cake. I had no problems with it being runny, as other reviews have commented.

Walnut Raisin Scones

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2005
Not overly sweet...so those who do not have a sweet tooth can eat them plain, and those that do can smother them with jam (my preference). Delicious!

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2004
Delicious, very moist. I have also substituted pumpkin butter for the apple butter with pecans instead of walnuts. Both ways are a favorite in my house.

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2003
This recipie is delicious. I will often cook broccoli and add it on top of the pasta, if you try to add it into the sauce it just soaks too much of it up. Very good
