Wish I had read the "Do not cook!" warning before I started, but my pie looks just fine after 8 or so minutes in the oven. I planned to top the pie with whipped cream anyway, so that should help cover the skin it developed in the oven. I used skim milk in my mix and had no problem with the pudding mixture thickening. Maybe those with runny pies could have used a higher temperature or cooked a bit longer. I also stirred nearly the entire cook time. Pie looks excellent though, can't wait to taste it after it chills for an hour or two!
