Slow Cooker Venison Roast

I made this with an elk roast, and it was wonderful! I browned the roast in oil and butter in the pan first, deglazed the pan with some red wine, and added that nice sauce to the crock pot as well. I also added some rosemary. I love how the soup makes its own gravy! This was super good!

Cranberry Salad I

This was really good! It was even better after sitting an extra day in the refrigerator. I added extra sugar. This makes a lot of salad!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles

This was very easy, but I thought it was just OK. It was pretty bland, and I'm normally a bland food-type of girl. It's probably a good base recipe. The only thing I changed was substitute whole wheat egg noodles, and add chicken bouillion.

Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup

I thought it was delicious. Instead of a can of mixed veggies, I added frozen veggies 3/4 of the way through because I didn't want them to get mushy.

Soft-Shell Chicken Tacos

Super amazing and super easy! We used fresh onions and peppers. I cooked the chicken first, then took the chicken out, added a bit more oil and cooked the peppers and onions. Then I added back in the chicken and heated through.

This is so delicious! I covered it for the first 10 minutes, and cooked it at 425 because that was what my pork tenderloin was cooking at. I loved it!

Potato, Bacon, and Corn Chowder

Delicious! I felt kind of dumb, because I read the reviews that said "I didn't have any celery," and I thought, "Who doesn't have celery?" Then I went to my fridge, and I didn't have celery. Anyway, I used green bell pepper, and it was good, although I'm sure the taste was different. I also replaced half the milk with chicken broth. This definitely wouldn't feed 8. It fed my husband, one-year old, 3 year old and me with no leftovers. It was delicious, though!
