Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
This was extremely easy, but wasn't a favorite of mine. The flavors were simply okay.

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
I typically will only eat ribs that are grilled, but these were very good. I boiled them for 45 minutes & added a bit more garlic powder than asked for. After that, I put them in the oven for one hour & they came out great. I would recommend using a thick bbq sauce for these ribs. I'll be making these again! Thanks!

Cool Whipped Frosting

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
I made this to frost an angel food cake and it was just what I needed! Something cool, light, fluffy, and pretty tasty! I used french vanilla pudding mix instead of plain vanilla and it turned out good. The color tint turns out a little more yellowish than plain vanilla, just a heads up, but my family didn't mind. Very nice recipe but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't like cool whip.

Valerie's Fruit Dip

This recipe is very simple but as far as flavor it was merely alright. I probably won't make this again.

Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
This recipe is pretty good and I'm not a huge fan of pretzels. I did bake my pretzel/butter mixture in a 9x13 pan and then transferred it into a trifle bowl like the picture above. However, the layers are very thin if you follow the exact measurements so I suggest if you are trying to make a trifle with this recipe and you want it to look like the above picture, double the recipe or else it won't fill but half of the bowl. Oh, and definitely do not forget to let each layer cool COMPLETELY before applying the next layer. I left the cream cheese layer in for the longest so the jello layer wouldn't seep through, which was about 3 or 4 hours. Overall, nice recipe.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
I'm not an expert chef by any means, and I followed this recipe and it turned out great! I didn't salt the chicken at all, however, because I used sliced sandwich ham & swiss cheese which both are fairly salty. I also dipped my chicken in an egg wash and then into italian bread crumbs before rolling the ham and cheese. I didn't have cream of chicken/mushroom soup so I skipped the sauce and it was still delicious by itself. When you cut into the chicken after it is cooked, it comes out in a perfect spiral and presentation is so nice! Thanks for the recipe!

These potatoes are delicious and work great with so many main dishes. I add a bit of garlic salt & pepper to the potatoes before baking. They are soooo simple and everyone loves them, even picky eaters!

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
I really love this recipe and so did everyone who tried it. The only thing I did different is I used german chocolate cake mix instead of devils food cake mix and I think it tastes muchhhh better! Everything else was pretty much exactly like the recipe. I had no problems with the cake being soggy- it was very moist though! Definitely a keeper.

Chocolate Ribbon Pie

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
Very easy and very good dessert. I used a graham cracker crust instead of chocolate cookie crust and it turned out great. I shaved some chocolate curls to top it off with for decorations - Everyone loved it.
