Georgia Peach Homemade Ice Cream

My hubby loved this ice cream! We had a huge box of peaches and ice cream just sounded good, so I pulled out the ice cream maker and whipped up a batch. I followed the recipe completely other than I cut it in half which filled two, 2 pint containers. YUM!! Very light and refreshing without being to sweet. I did not add the extra sugar and it was fine :)

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

LOVED THESE! I made them for grilled sausages and My Hubby said "Oh wow these are really good". I cut the recipe in half, and it made 4 large hot dog type rolls which was great as there are only the two of us. They were not fluffy and airy, they had some density which is exactly what I was looking for, I hate how store bought buns can get soggy, yuk! I will continue to make and enjoy them.

Peach Pie the Old Fashioned Two Crust Way

I want to say right off I am not a Peach Pie fan, my husband is, and had purchased a box of 42 Peaches so I thought I would give it a whirl. OMGosh!!! HUBBY LOVED IT AND SO DID I!!!! I followed the recipe exactly and I did make a homemade crust, My hubby started raving before he swallowed the first bite. FLAVOR WAS PERFECT, I was so proud, Thank You for a great recipe. P.S. I just bought another box of peaches and am going to can this recipe, less the flour which I will add when I am ready to make another pie, MMMM, Fresh Peach Pie all year long... Can't believe I actually like peach pie, Who knew :0

Louisiana Crawfish Etouffee

This is an excellent recipe! The only sub I make is I use half the butter and replace the other half with EVOO, it is a very creamy, smooth sauce that I find myself craving :) LOVE IT!! I get frozen Crawdad meat at Wal-Mart (Who Knew??) I make this all the time and my hubby LOVES IT :)

Fluffy Cake Doughnuts

EVERYONE I SERVE THESE TO LOVE THEM! I use the sugar/ brown sugar/cinnamon topping another person suggested and I also sour my own regular milk with 2 tbs. of lemon juice as another suggested. AWESOME! * Just a note, I did find that if I wait to coat these it won't work well, they need to be hot and moist, the butter application idea is a good one, and I use a pastry brush.* These are our new weekend breakfast treat, Thanks for a great recipe and great review ideas ;)

Biscotti

I love Biscotti, I am Italian and have baked a lot of Biscotti, THIS IS A WINNER! I cut the recipe in half, I used EVOO because that is the only oil I use, I used vanilla rather than anise as my hubby is not really a fan of it, and I dusted the dough lightly with flour as it was incredibly wet and sticky before I put it on the cookie sheet. Light, crunchy without being to hard, DELICIOUS! I will definitely make again and again!

Baked Haddock

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! My husband says it reminds him of fishsticks, that is good as far as he is concerned :) The fresh grated Parm is a great flavor. SUPER FAST, EASY AND DELISH... 5 STARS

Simple White Cake

This was great!! I cut the sugar by about 1/4 C., and increased the milk to 1 C. the cake was really tasty. I stopped in the middle of making this to get a phone call and about 45 minutes later I got back to it and get it in the oven. This was not a dry cake, I served it with berries as short cake style as well as frosting the other half for a serving tomorrow.
