Banker by day, Cook by night. Though I share kitchen responsibilities, I am the one who brings the new dishes to the table for my guinea pigs (I mean guests) instead of my other half who makes the great southern traditionals that are SO wonderful!

Slow Cooker meals, anything I can cook with the fresh food our acre garden supplies year round!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I married into the deep south whereas I am a northerner of polish descent. We cook everything from fried chicken to Paczki!
My cooking tragedies
there was one where we both sniffed it, it was picked up, and walked to the trash can. We had pizza.

Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Was SO great! Everyone suggested tomato juice but since no one would drink the extra, I decided to use V8 juice mixed with a can of tomato soup. Used the cabbage leaves to cover bottom and top of the pan and the rolls came out wonderful! I mixed a little garlic in (about half a clove). Can't wait for lunch tomorrow to finish them!!

Chicken Pot Pie II
I make some changes personally. Extra veggies and i add oregano and thyme. Love it. It is a new standard! To save time, you can always boil chicken night before and then construct the night you want to eat it.

Zuppa Toscana
used ground italian sausage because its just more appropriate and had chicken broth (i make it homemade) so i used that instead of water and chicken bouillon. Love it and love the leftovers though.
