Pumpkin Pie Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
This is an awesome cake to make in the Fall. The smell of the cake in the oven is just the beginning! This cake has the texture of a traditional pumpkin pie, but it is so much better! The only change that I made was using pecans rather than walnuts and I flipped the cake over and covered it with a cream cheese frosting. I thought that would make it too sweet, but everyone loved it. The next time I make it, I am going to just dust it with confectioners sugar. This cake is also very easy to make. I am going to make it again very soon. Everyone at my work party raved over this cake and asked for the recipe.

Cheesy Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
Really not sure what the other reviewers were doing to make these greasy and dry...but I have made them time and again and they have turned out perfect every time...the only modifications that I made were adding the garlic powder and a dash of cayenne pepper and a bit more cheese than called for...these biscuits were such a hit with everyone...I have had people rave over them...Definitely worth trying on your own rather than listening to the negative feedback, they were obviously not doing something right.

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
I love these chicken fingers!! The only modification that I made was after the chicken was done, I melted 1/2 cup of butter with as much hot sauce as desired and poured them over the chicken...this gave them the wet texture and made them mouth watering...I also used hot sauce with the egg rather than the water that was recommended...I either bake or fry these and then pour the marinade over them after done...I have made these time and again and they are a huge hit!!

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
This is an awesome hit with everyone...the only thing that I did different was bake them instead of fry them...much healthier and the jalepenos were a little crisper...I have made these time and time again...

Holiday Cranberry Chutney

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2011
It was okay, but I prefer just cranberry sauce...I suggest taming it down on the cinammon too, it was just overbearing..

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2011
I made this recipe just as it called for, but made the puffs bigger, so it was dinner portion. I was not crazy about it. Wasn't bad, just wasn't really very flavorful. Make sure that you use really good dough, I think that would make all the differnce in the world. I would try this again and make some adjustments to it.

Christmas Wreaths

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
These are awesome Christmas cookies! They are so beautiful and they are yummy. They taste best when warm. But in order to place in tin for gift make sure they are cooled or they will stick together! Also make sure you use the green food coloring and do not mix yellow and blue, it makes an ugly green color.

Lemon Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
This is such an awesome cake..I get more requests from friends to make this than any other...an easy glaze that I use is 2 cups powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons (or more if you want it thinner)...It's such an easy cake to make and I guarantee you will not be disappointed!!!

Magic Cookie Bars from EAGLE BRAND®

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
This is the first time that I have made this and I followed the directions just as suggested...I thought it was going to be a horrible mess, but after I cooked them, I let them refrigerate overnight so they would cut evenly...It turned out perfect...and they were a HIT with everyone!

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
This is the first time I have ever made homemade cranberry sauce. but this by far is better than canned sauce. However once the sauce has cooled some pop some of the berries to give it a thicker sauce. Excellent!

Restaurant Style Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
OMG this is the best Mac and Cheese ever! It is creamy and cheesy, but not overly so. I was asked to make it to bring to Thanksgiving dinner at my friends house and it turned out scrumptious! Thanks for the recipe!

Scrambled Eggs Done Right

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
How can you not taste a difference using the mayo? I also use a tablespoon of milk in place of the water, I learned this trick from a friend. These eggs are really fluffy and moist and made to be served right away. You will love them if you love eggs. I haven't tried the previous suggestion of ranch dressing, but I plan on it.

Watergate Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2009
OH MY....THIS IS A GREAT RECIPE. OF COURSE I ALWAYS DOUBLE IT TO MAKE ENOUGH TO LAST A COUPLE OF DAYS. ONE BATCH IS NOT ENOUGH FOR MORE THAN TWO. BUT MY FIANCE' LOVES THIS DESSERT. I HAVE MADE A LOT OF DISHES FOR HIM FROM THIS SITE, BUT THIS IS BY FAR HIS FAVORITE. YOU CAN ADD CHERRIES TO THIS RECIPE IF YOU LIKE THEM, GIVES THE DISH A LITTLE COLOR.

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
I made this dish for my boyfriend for our first Valentines together and I am soooo glad that I did. This was an excellent dish. It had so much flavor to it and he raved about it for days. I guess that had nothing to do with him asking me to marry him that night. :)

Pork Roast with Tangy Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2009
Yummy!!! I cooked potatoes with the pork loin, so I would suggest covering the dish with part of the sauce after about 30-45 minutes of cooking, so that they are marinated. This was an excellent dish and even better the next day. We will make it again!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
This is the best Salmon dish I have ever made. It was too cold to grill so I cooked it on the stove and let it cook in the marinade. The sugar soaks into the skin of the salmon and the taste is amazing. The coloring is also a nice brown. Delicious!!!
