Strawberry Basil Margarita

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2012
Wonderful with the basil. I knew already that basil enhances the flavor of strawberries (you truly don't taste the basil). I loved this recipe, made entirely with fresh ingredients - my search for the perfect strawberry margarita is over!

My Father's Lime Daiquiri

Reviewed: May 16, 2012
I looooove this but omitted the maraschino cherries (couldn't find any) and used a few mint leaves instead. Perfect!

Raspberry Margaritas

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
I couldn't bring myself to add a whole cup of Grand Marnier! So I used 3/4 cup fresh orange juice and just 1/4 cup of the liqueur. Pretty good!

Basic Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2012
I made this recipe with 1/4 cup reduced fat mayonnaise and 1/4 cup low fat sour cream. I grilled the almonds in the oven, keeping a close watch on them (a few minutes on a high temp) and replaced the lemon juice with two finely chopped spring onions. I served this with fresh green batavia leaves. Delicious and healthy.
