Fresh Asparagus Risotto

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I doubled the recipe (12 servings), and at a dinner party for 7 nearly all of it was was consumed to rave reviews. I made this without any modifications, and it turned out better than any risotto I've had in restaurants. This one is a keeper!

Wonderful recipe! If you like a sweeter drink, then add a packet of Splenda before shaking.

Watermelon Summer Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2005
We were served a salad similar to this at a dinner party my friend gave. I saw it and thought, "How strange!" Then, after trying it I thought it was aweome. Fresh, salty, sweet and tangy all at once. I wanted to reproduce the salad, found this recipie, and it's very close! The only alteration I made was to cut back on the amount of mint. I used 1/4 c. flat leaf parsley and about 10 mint leaves. Many guests have been surprised and delighted by this salad at our summer dinner table.

Yogurt and Tropical Fruit

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2004
My friend brought this to a dinner at our home. I looked at it and thought, "How did she have the itme to do chop this fruit?" Reluctantly she spilled the beans and said the fruit was canned! The yogurt really dresses up the fruit, and I've used this recipe since with minor variations such as sprinkling chopped nuts on top. Really handy to take to a pot-luck when you're pressed for time.

The Greatest Grilled Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2002
Very helpful for large holiday dinners when oven space is crowded. Flavor is great! Keep fluid of some type in the roasting pan to make awesome gravy. The turkey was tender and moist. A 12 lb unstuffed turkey took 3 1/2 hours and less than 1/4 tank of propane on a Weber three burner gas grill.
