Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
This recipe hands down is the best I have come across. My daughter raves about it. For those of you who think the mayo will be too overpowering, I found after the herbs had a chance to "marry" for a few hours it tasted much better, and the next day its even better! I like my ranch dressing a little thinner, so I added a few splashes of milk to mine. Great recipe!

Thumbprint Cookies I

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
Absolutely Perfect. This is exactly what I wanted. Not too sweet almost like a shortbread YUM! Did it exactly like the directions told me too, only I baked them for 12 minutes after I added the jam. I used Apricot Preserves. I have also used Lemon Curd which is Heavenly!

Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
Seriously the best tacos. I got a big roast and doubled the spices and used the leftover meat to make enchiladas the next night that were Off the HOOK! Even my 5 year old daughter ate it. This is a must have recipe!!

Mom's Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
This was an OK recipe. I think it has too much salt because thats all I could taste in this pie. So maybe cut the salt to a 1/2 tsp? I like spicy pies, so I thought this one would do the trick. I will probably not use this recipe again.

Easy Pork Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
Oh Oh OH! This recipe is good! My husband and my 4 year old daughter LOVED it. I did a few things different...only because I had to use what I had on hand. I omitted the shallot, changed the beer for wine, and used a can of whole tomatoes crushed instead of the stewed. I also added finely chopped carrots and celery. I served with Brown rice...YUMMO!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: May 15, 2007
THE BEST! I have made this a few times already and my husband cannot get enough. I used a frozen bag of Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots. I also add fresh mushrooms. Amazing. (not a big peas fan, so I had to get creative) But this is a good mix of veggies!! Two thumbs up!

Puff Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2003
My mom would make these for us when we were kids, and we called them "oakey donuts". These are just fabulous! We also would use powdered sugar and do cinnamon and sugar ones too! Easy and delicious!
