Italian Breaded Pork Chops

My family "hates" pork chops. All of my children were moaning and groaning about having them for dinner. As a rule, they have to try what I make, and if they don't like it they can make themselves something else. Tonight we all ate the pork chops. The kids even raved about how good they were. The only change I made to the recipe was that I added garlic salt to the chops. Without salt, they just are not flavorful which is why I gave the recipe 4 stars instead of 5.

I reduced the recipe by half. These are very time consuming to make, but they sure didn't last long once they were out of the oven. I made them for a dinner party and everyone loved them!!

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

So easy to make, so good to eat! I made this dressing for a Greek themed dinner party. There was no salad left. I am sure it was the dressing that everyone liked. Also I reduced the serving size to 25 and there was more than enough for 10 people. Plus I have left over dressing for more salad!

Curried Coconut Chicken

This recipe was very easy to make. I followed the directions to a T. I thought that the flavor was okay, my family didn't care much for it. I think it was missing some flavor. Maybe with a little tweaking it would be a better dish.

Warm Crab Parmesan Dip

I made this dip for a big party we had. I used 10 oz of crab that was in the refrigerator section of my grocery store. And about 1 cup of Parmesan/Romano cheese. Those were the only changes I made to the recipe. My guests ate every morsel of this dip and a few requested the recipe. I will be making this one over and over again!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

I started with this recipe and changed it up a bit to suite my needs better. The original recipe was wonderful, but I don't need the added sugar so I omitted it. I also just used Italian seasonings instead of basil. I don't really know how much I put in because I just use them to taste. My family devours this sauce. I liked the meatballs, but my family prefers ground beef cooked and then added to the sauce. But this recipe is a winner in our house.

World's Best Lasagna

I made this recipe and divided it into two meals. We ate one right away and put the other in the freezer for a month or so. Both of the lasagnas were perfect. There were no left overs to be had.

Brown Sugar Smokies

I make these for parties. It is always the first thing to be eaten. Everybody LOVES them! I use maple flavored bacon and way more brown sugar than any recipe should have in it, but they are so sweet and yummy!

Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Herb Sauce

This is a good basic recipe. I made a few changes to it so I can't base my rating on the original recipe. I added garlic and chopped onions to the carrots, used half heavy cream and half water because I didn't have light cream, and I doubled the gravy/sauce part of the recipe. Next time I make this I will add mushrooms. My very picky family loved the flavors and have requested that I make this recipe again. Thank you for a good recipe!

Beer Margaritas

Honestly this is one of the worst margaritas I have ever had. And believe me I have had a lot of margaritas in my life! I have no idea how it has gotten such good reviews. The only reason I gave it two stars was because it was easy to make. We followed the recipe exactly. We used Corona for the beer and Patron for the tequila. We drank the whole pitcher because we didn't want to waste the Patron, but will never make these again. We will stick with our recipe (Brian's Fresh Margarita).

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

My family loved the sandwiches! I did need to add a little garlic salt to the liquid because it was just a little too bland. I also put a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the meat and put it under the broiler to melt. I will be making these again with just a few alterations. Thank you for such an easy and yummy recipe!

Easy Cheese Ball II

Easy easy easy to make. I needed to whip up something quick for guests and chose this recipe. I have never made a cheese ball before, but this one seemed simple. I used a mixer to mix the ingredients together then used saran wrap to help form the ball shape so that I didn't get to dirty. I put it in the fridge for a couple of hours. My guests gobbled it up. Everyone was asking where I bought it and no one could believe it only took me a few minutes to make. Will be making this one over and over again! Thanks!
