Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
Good flavor and is nice and soft. Added tomatoes, baby carrots, and zucchini in the last 20-10 mins. Next time I'll add broccoli.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
I do enjoy the original recipe, but I do add a third of a red bell pepper, double the cayenne pepper, and reduce the black beans by half a can. Only double the cayenne if you like heat, which masks the cilantro, otherwise use a third of a cup of cilantro.

Honey Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
The worcestershire sauce is overpowering. Reduce and make sure not to over cook on the grill. Do not use the honey/butter glaze as a marinade, but rather a mop. Pretty decent though.

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
Added pinto beans, and used my favorite veggie hamburgers made by Trader Joe's, which are spicy indian marsala. Pretty bomb, even for meat eaters.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2011
Found the review of marinading the chicken helpful. Threw in about 2 tablespoons of tequila also while cooking it. Like most, disregard oregano, add cilantro, advocado/guacamole, and serve with sour cream, rice, and refried beans with ortega chilies cooked in.

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
First recipe from here, and by far the best. This spice rub is great for any seafood, even shrimp. Avoid cayenne for any who dislike heat, but for those who do like heat double it. I remove excess grease with paper towel on the fish, and omit the white bread. Serve over rice, or couscous, with a steamed veggie medley.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
Use 1/4-1/3 of a cup of milk. Ginger was alright, but I'm going back to garlic and celery next time. Glaze on top too.

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2011
The corned beef came out tasting good, basically like the beer. But I think I would rather drink the beer and cook a normal corned beef. While cooking it has a terrible odor that lingers, and if you add cabbage, it will become almost uneatable, due to the taste. But 3 stars because it only says the corned beef.
