Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
This is extremely good. I only tweaked the seasonings. I always do because my family like a lot of flavor. I added ketchup, salt, garlic salt and pepper. I have man eaters at my home so I used 3 pds of ground beef -- lol! The brown sugar and ketchup on the bottom took this meatloaf over the top. Defintely will make again.

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2011
This turned out excellent. My husband and son complimented me on this dish. I did do a few things differently, though. I pan fried my chicken because I like the coating to be a little harder than the oven will make it. I always salt my chicken or pork with sea salt first because mixing it into the breadcrumbs just doesn't cut it for me but I do put garlic powder or salt and pepper in the breadcrumbs. I did everything else like the receipe stated. It turned out fantastic!

Mom's Mustard Style Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 28, 2006
This potato salad was awesome. Taste just like my mom used to make. Didn't use the pimentos -- relish was enough. Will make again.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2004
Oh, my goodness! This taste better than in restaurants. I did change a few things: I used 2 cans of chicken broth, no water and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. And I used cumin instead of oraganeo and lots of red cynenne pepper. We like it spicey. It was Great!! Definitely a keeper.

Emma's Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2003
This recipe was no different than any other ones I've tried and it wasn't worth the extra work. I tried doubling the recipe because I use the large round Belgian waffle iron and they tasted terrible -- salty. I've been trying to make Belgian waffles now for 11 years!!!! -- and have yet to find a recipe that look like the ones on the Belgian waffle boxes or like Big Boy's Belgian waffles. I've had three different waffle irons and have tried numerous recipes. I give up!!!! I'm going to tell my husband and son never to ask me to make them again and I'm tossing the waffle iron.
