I love to cook almost anything that I think I can do.. unfortunately for my son and boyfriend I think I can do almost anything lol definitely not true..
My favorite family cooking traditions
holiday cooking I love trying to recreate some of my grandmothers old dishes..had I paid better attention I wouldn't have so many problems...
My cooking triumphs
hunters stew I have became very accomplished at indian fry bread but just cause its simple rhubarb bread pudding and apple dumplings too
My cooking tragedies
oh wow too many to list but I will give a few I have a horrible time getting my bread to rise cinnamon rolls the first time I baked them I burnt the outside and the inside was doughy

Key Lime Pie VII
I have made this recipe before to make lemon meringue pie but the recipe I used is one can sweetened condensed milk and a half of a cup of lemon juice ,, the only sugar I used was a quarter cup in the meringue ... anyway this is a very good recipe and I have tried it with lime but only using a half of a cup of the juice and it always turns out well..

Creamy Banana Bread
This is not a recipe I will use again for banana bread. I prefer the sour cream banana bread recipe.

Banana Sour Cream Bread
this is a good recipe and almost identical to my grandmothers, I used pecans as my grandma did and I increased the temperature to 325 degrees and cooked this an additional 20 minutes. I also have a propane stove which makes a difference.anyway needless to say this turned out very good , I can remember my grandmother adding extra cooking time when she used heavier batters such as this one.
