Best Ever Party Appetizer

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2013
This is outstanding. I used kalamata olives instead of black. I love green olives but i felt they would be too overpowering. Someone suggested using dental floss to cut the goat cheese and I wish I had. I used a very sharp knife and it still made cutting a little sloppy. I toasted baguette pieces with a spread of olive oil also.

Italian Subs - Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
Great recipe. The salad is great but I am going to try the user's suggestion of replacing the lettuce with chopped pickle. The meats are perfect. If you normally like hot peppers in your sub, I'd put a little more red pepper flakes or add some red hots on top of the salad. Make sure you use fresh hoagie rolls, the bread can make or break the sub.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
Perfect recipe. I used canola oil and vegetable oil and noticed no difference. I like them extra extra crispy so just when you think they are done, leave them in another 2 minutes. I can tell because parts of the wings will be a very dark brown. Take them out of the oil briefly put on a paper towel then throw them in a bowl with the sauce. As for the sauce, after I heated it on the stove, I put it in the fridge for 10 minutes to thicken it.

Stuffed and Wrapped Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
The filling is great. Definitely pre fry the bacon a little because it won't be enough in the oven. You will also have to flip the chicken halfway to crisp the other side of the bacon. For the last 2 minutes, put it on broiler to get a nice crisp. Not too long though you don't want the chicken to dry out in the heat. Also use toothpicks along with the bacon to close the chicken. The filling easily oozes out. Great recipe nonetheless!

Fried Pickles

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
This recipe nails it. I added more Old Bay because I am from Baltimore and that's just what we do. The ranch side with the cajun seasoning is perfect. I actually think this recipe works better with the pickle spears. Really make sure you coat them with the batter, otherwise the fried layer is too thin.

Men Love This Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2011
This worked really well. I added chopped onion and I put the bleu chz on the steak while it was on grill to melt it. The bacon grease was a little much but still delicious.
