Quick and Easy Pancit

I don't know if I didn't wait long enough for the noodles to soak or what but this wasn't as good as I had hoped. I didn't put in the chicken as I was making this as a side dish to go with lumpia. My husband said the texture of the noodles he couldn't get past but had a good flavor. I thought the flavor was a little to bland. The only flavoring was the garlic and soy sauce. I even added more soy sauce than recommended. I need someone who knows how to make pancit so I can taste it again and see if it was just me making it wrong or I just don't like pancit. I thought I had it before and loved it but if this is what it is suppose to taste like then I don't think I do.

Chef John's Italian Meatballs

This recipe is perfect just the way it is. I had never made meatballs, I just usually did spaghetti sauce on my noodles. So glad I tried this. My husband loves to eat the meatballs all by themselves.

Chef John's Peach Cobbler

This recipe tasted great. I have always been afraid to make cobbler but it is one of my husbands favorites so I went for it. Read reviews but after all was said and done, didn't change much. I didn't add the lemon zest and I didn't pour all the juices from the peaches in. I did use canned peaches but I don't think that changed the flavoring to much. Next time I will go ahead and add all the juice because mine wasn't runny like some others were. I did cook at 350 for 50min but when it was done I shut the oven off, opened the door and let it still sit in the oven to cool. Very easy recipe to follow and very good taste.

Monkey Bread I

I just made this and it is good. I did read how someone used a tube pan and it was messy but that was all I had so I put the tube pan on a cookie sheet. Of course all the yummy brown sugar and butter mixture ran out so I will go purchase a bundt pan before I make this again. Otherwise it was good. I did not add the walnuts or raisins as I wanted simple. Have to say not bad for my first attempt. Hope to make it again soon.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

I haven't really tried any other wing recipe on this site because this one was so good. No changes need, but definitely need to follow the directions when it says to put in fridge for 60-90min. I prefer these wings over any wing restaraunt we have here. I haven't found any that are better, well, maybe my husbands on the grill :) YUM! Easy to make as well!
