Spiderweb Brownies

I find the marshmellow doesn't go well with the brownie. While more conventional, replacing the marshmellow cream with powdered sugar makes for a much better brownie!

Glazed Chicken Wings

This recipe might work better as a marinade. While the skill was flavorful, the meat was unaffected by the sauce and relatively bland. I think that maybe doing this overnight in the fridge would let the sauce flavor the meat as well as the skin. Also, I had one guest comment that he thought there was too much Soy Sauce, though I personally thought it was fine (as did the other guests.)

This was pretty good, though my own modifications to it (a layer of coconut and more milk chocolate chips) was probably over the top. I'm looking forward to trying it straight up next time!

Easy OREO Truffles

I'd had these before, or something like it, and I'd expected more Oreo flavor. This recipe as is tastes heavily of Cream Cheese. I might decrease the amount of cheese if I try it again.

Dark Chocolate Crumb Bars

My version changes the Dark Chocolate to Milk Chocolate, replaces the Walnuts with Pecans, and adds a sprinkling of Coconut to the top. It works great that way!

Shoyu Chicken

I left the skin on and it came out great. I left it on a few minutes longer because of that, and it came out juicy and tender. I also marinated overnight to get more flavor in the meat. The chicken was very flavorful. Good recipe!

Sugar Coated Pecans

This is simple and easy, but the cinnamon doesn't really come out unless you really increase it in the recipe. I usually double it. Simple and easy, but maybe too simple unless you have it with something else.
