Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: May 23, 2005
I thought this recipe was wonderful. I did add just a dash of worcestershire sauce, black pepper, garlic powder and ground thyme (can't help myself!) but the meat was tender and the sauce savory. I buttered the sliced sub rolls and grilled them and served the sandwiches with onions carmelized with butter and sugar and with slices of american cheese (would have used provolone but didn't have any). Delicious! We couldn't detect the taste of beer at all - it just added to the flavor. I also seared the outside edges in butter in a saute pan first and cooked it on high for the first two hours. Nice easy recipe, thanks!

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2004
This is the same way I make turkey burgers but I add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup 2% milk which makes them moister. I also use the mixed light and dark turkey meat which is also moister. They tend to be very dry with only breast meat.

Egg Flipped Over

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2002
This is absolutely the best egg recipe. It's very easy for kids to make and it's delicious! I'm not just saying this because Cristiana is my favorite niece either! She's well on her way to becoming a terrific cook!

Emily's Famous Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2000
Very good - nice and thick, although it was a little too sweet for me. Next time I'll reduce sugar to 2 tbs.
