Surprise Banana Cake

This was very easy. It's hot here so the butter softened quickly - this is the part I hate most about baking is softening butter and creaming it with sugar. But it was easy. Now I did use bananas, but only 2 (they were really black). And I used all purpose wheat flour for both cups of flour. It was dense and light at the same time. I've been learning not to over mix - so I got a good rise from this dough. And my surprise was coffee. I thought they came out okay other than a bit too dense. Oh yeah I made them muffins and not a cake.

Buttermilk Biscuits I

Well, I know how to cook biscuits, but for some reason I'm forgetting stuff all the time or not putting the right ratio of flour to shortening. Or sometimes I forget the baking powder and baking soda too. So, listen I think you have to add a half cup of sugar to these 4 cups of flour. And if your flour is already salty or you are using baking soda don't add any more salt. Especially if you're using butter milk. Now if you're having taste issues you can use butter instead of shortening or lard(animal fat). That should give you the light buttery goodness you seek. Or you can brush with butter once you pull the biscuits out of the oven. And are you browning the biscuits. Don't just use the oven bake use the broil setting for 5minutes. I gave it a five, because it has the ratios I need.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

I give this 5 stars, because it was so easy to do. Did somebody say cupcake papers. Now where did I put them things. Oh yeah. Didn't use them. I used real butter instead of margarine too. I will use margarine maybe on the 3rd time. Now if anybody can give me the secret to timing recipe so I can keep them from burning on the edges next time. Or maybe a new pair of glasses. By the way they did not burn that badly but hey I would like some perfection in life. I made a youtube video of the results on my alldoorsopen youtube channel. Thanks Raymond D. Sweet
