Crustless Cranberry Pie

Served this at a dinner for friends - big success. The only change was that I used coarsly chopped apple with the cranberries. Definately a keeper.

This dessert tastes as elegant as it looks-- and the preparation was was very easy. I used Empire apples and precooked them. Their tartness was a perfect match with the butter and sugar. I reduced the butter to 5 Tbsp and it was wonderful. A definite "make again"!.

Black Bean and Couscous Salad

Dark Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes

My son-in-law, who loves all things chocolate would not even finish one of these cupcakes. I had sprinkled bacon on top of the frosting. In an effort to salvage them, I removed the bacon on top and re-spread the frosting. Cupcakes were ok, but they would be really good without the bacon.
