This was a good base recipe, as many have stated before. I made the oat mixture with a little vanilla extract, half brown sugar, half white sugar, and cinnamon. As for the blueberry mixture, I actually added half brown and half white sugar as well and threw in a generous splash of vanilla, squeezed half a lemon, and a little cinnamon and boiled it until it was almost jam-like. Everyone who tried it was amazed. They said it was a cross between blueberry coffee cake and a nutrigrain bar. I LOVED it. I also ate it with vanilla icecream warm. MMMMM!
