I am an outgoing, fun-loving person with eclectic interests.
My favorite things to cook
Anything Italian. I love to browse for new recipes and then make them my own by changing them to suit my husband and my own tastes. We enjoy going to new Mexican and Italian restaurants and going home and trying to duplicate the new dishes we have tried there.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Ever since I can remember my mom, sister and I have always baked and iced Christmas cutout cookies together. It is even more fun now that my 5 year old niece has joined us!
My cooking triumphs
I have mastered alfredo sauce as well as the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
My cooking tragedies
I cannot seem to make fried dill pickles! Although I have tried MANY different recipes, I cannot get them right. Usually the batter falls off the pickle. GRRRRRR!

Sweet and Sour Salad Dressing
Since making this the first time, it has since become one of my go-to dressings!! Love it!

Garlic and Herb Pull Apart Bread
My picky eater hubby loved this recipe and asked for it to join the regular rotation. Great alternative to garlic bread!!

Chicken and Gnocchi Soup
This soup was SOOO good! Nice rich flavor and great smooth texture. The only things I changed, was to use heavy cream instead of half and half, (I did not have any half and half) I also used a whole large onion, because we like onion. Will definitely be putting this recipe in my regular rotation!
