I give this recipe 5 stars for what it is. A casserole is not supposed to be "WOW!" it is supposed to be simple, tasty, & filling and this was all 3..thanks!

Gingerbread Boys And Girls

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2003
I personally do not like gingerbread cookies however these were such a hit at the christmas parties i went to and also they were a lot of fun to make. easy to cut out and we used colored royal icing to paint clothes and faces on them.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2003
Yummy and easy. I always wondered how bakeries get that awesome crumb topping and now i know. My husband loved it too. Only problem i saw was that the crumb recipe made WAY more than was needed for the 8 muffins. Next time ill make about a quarter of the crumb recipe

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2002
This was sooo good! I did have a pregnant woman blunder though. after all was said and done and everyone had eaten i realized that i had used marjoram instead of white pepper...!? anyways. it didn't seem to make any difference but i will know better next time i make it. atleast both marjoram and white pepepr are relatively calm spices.

Carne Adovada

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2002
I cut the amount of pork in half but i ended up making the regular amount of chile because if i cut that in half too it looked like hardly enough. I made this mainly for my husband as he is from so. california and misses that kind of food. anyway. i never actually ate any as the smell just turned my pregnant stomach but my husband really loved it...i cooked it for 2.5 hours and it seemed a tad too long for my taste. But my husband likes his meat pretty well done. next time i will cook covered
