Pork, Apple, and Ginger Stir-Fry with Hoisin Sauce

I made this as written and it was really yummy. Will definitely make again. Next time I will add some more veggies though. I was given advice on the Recipe Exchange to use a cheese grater to "chop" the ginger after you peel it and it worked great. Thank you for the recipe!

Cheeseburger Pasta

Sure, it's not anything gourmet. But it is kid friendly, quick, easy and economical. I make it about once a month. I don't think it needs anything else, although I always season my ground beef with garlic powder, garlic salt and onion.

30-Minute Minestrone

Okay, I'm sitting here pretty annoyed that my kids are starving and the veggies are still not soft after 40 min of simmering. I have tasted it, it is good, so I'm giving it the 3 stars, but please don't say it takes 30 minutes when there is no way that can be done!

Honey Coconut Salmon

This is my favorite salmon recipe. I never bake it anymore. It's so much easier to just throw everything into a foil pouch and throw on the BBQ or George Foreman. So good!

Strawberry Crepes

I get so excited every year when the roadside strawberry stands open because I know it's time for these delicious strawberry crepes. I can't get enough! Definitely double the recipe if there are more than two of you. I found that it was not sweet enough when I got the berries from the grocery store, so get them as fresh as possible. Although the sweetened frozen ones will do when I'm desperate. Thank you for sharing!

Triple Chocolate Cream Pie

My husband said he would be excited to have this again. I actually wasn't crazy about it until we froze it...then it was fantastic. For new bakers, a make-shift double boiler is easily concocted by placing a just smaller pot or bowl inside a little larger pot of water. I think an Oreo crust might be even better. Oh, and I just used regular Cool Whip twice instead of chocolate, no problem. Don't be intimidated by all of the ingredients, it's not hard...okay maybe a little time consuming, but worth it. Thanks for sharing!

Brownie Caramel Cheesecake

WARNING: Highly addictive! The presentation on this was awesome. I am a fairly new cook and realized I had to go buy a springform pan (a pan where the sides can be removed from the bottom base) before I could make this but it was totally worth all of the time to make. Can't wait to make it for company. Changes: made half a brownie mix as package instructed and baked 12 minutes, used hersey's choc syrup (easy to make good presentation), reserved 2/3 cup of caramel and thus did not have any problems with a mess. MAKE THIS RECIPE!

Seafood Pasta Salad

This has become a new family favorite! I do add a little more mayo than is called for otherwise, it's perfect. I think the vinegar gives it a wonderfully tasty twist. Try it, you'll love it!
