Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2014
I followed the instructions in this recipe exactly as written. It was super easy and I didn't have any problem with my egg scrambling, as some others mentioned. I left out the raisins, and added extra cinnamon at the end, since that is my personal preference. Overall, this was a very simple and very delicious recipe, which is right up my alley! Thanks for posting it.

Bacon Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies With Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2013
Some people have mentioned that their cookies are spreading and coming out thin and crispy. You can avoid this if you cool your dough longer. I usually do it for at least 4 hours.

Brown Sugar Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
The first time I made this, I only had three small bananas and it cooked perfectly in the amount of time in the original recipe, but didn't have that intense banana taste. When I made it again with the full amount of bananas, it came out VERY moist and I had to cook it much longer, as other people have mentioned, and it didn't hold together as well. So, this most recent time I used whole wheat flour instead of the AP flour (cup for cup) and it cooked closer to the 40 minutes and held together better. I do like it denser. I also sprinkled some turbinado (raw) sugar across the top. Despite the multiple tries, it was an easy recipe to follow and adjust, and tasted delicious each time.

Corn Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
These were very good! I did make a few minor adjustments: I added a lot more minced onion and a little bit of garlic powder. I followed the directions up until cooking them in the broth. Instead of plain chicken broth, I cooked them in a chicken and vegetable soup I had made from scratch in my dutch oven, using the same amount of liquid (2 quarts). Because there was a lot more ingredients in the "broth", I cooked the dumplings for 20 minutes instead of 15. A simple recipe with a lot of flavor, nice job! This was my first time ever making dumplings, and these were so easy.
