About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Kung Pao Chicken; Chicken Parmesan & Spaghetti; Chi-Chi's Tacos; Beef & Broccoli; French's Fried Chicken; Crock-pot Chicken
My cooking tragedies
Accidentally putting 2 Tbsp of Salt into a stir-fry that called for 2 Tbsp of Sugar...couldn't figure out why it was soooooo salty, blamed it on the soy sauce. Then I cooked the meal again and thought it was interesting that the recipe called for 2 Tbsp of sugar...realized my mistake. Yowzers!

Chipotle Shrimp
I made it exactly as listed, and I just didn't care for the overall flavor of it.

Cherry Pie Filling
My cherries were tart, but the sauce was way too sweet. The second batch I made, I added the lemon juice (like recommended by others), and it didn't make a difference. Loved the thickness, but seemed overly sweet...will cut down on the sugar and cornstarch next time.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
I made this exactly as the recipe said and the cookies were so flattened that they just melted into one cookie sheet of dough. I tried refrigerating the dough and even tried lowering the temp and increasing the time but nothing fixed it.
