Dump Cake IV

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2011
Very easy to do! I used what I had in the cupboard, blackberry and apple pie fillings with chocolate cake--delicious!! I sliced the butter real thin and didn't need a whole cup. Baked it for 30 minutes, perfect! Thanks for such a great recipe!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
This is a very easy recipe to follow with terrific results! I brought it to a church dinner and everyone wanted the recipe. I followed the directions exactly as written, I wouldn't change a thing! I did put it into a 2 quart glass baking dish and it fit fine.

Buckeye Balls II

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
I tried the ideas shared by others to increase the peanut butter and decrease the powedered sugar and had horrible results! So, I went back and made them according to the recipe and they were terrific! I used almond bark to coat them, very easy. I also stuck a toothpick in each ball and froze them before dipping them in the melted chocolate. They keep very well in the freezer. That's my hiding place! Great recipe, thanks!

Spumoni Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
I'm the only one who liked these in my family. I did try them three different ways, without the chocolate chips and cherries and then without the cherries. But I prefer them the way the recipe is written. I made some of them small and dipped them in melted chocolate for my christmas trays, they were delicious!

These aren't as sweet as I expected. They taste better when they sit overnight.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2005
This was such an easy pie to throw together! I thought this might taste real sweet because of using the sweet milk but it was so creamy, I had a piece for breakfast! Thanks so much!

Apple Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This was the first time I tried making my own apple pie and to let other first timers know, put the whole 6 cups of apples in the pie crust even though it looks like there are too many, they cook to fit. I did what others said and tossed the apples in the sugar, cinnamon and flour. It came out great! My 14 yr. old ate 6 slices so I had to make another one. Thanks for a great recipe!

Baked Cream Cheese Appetizer

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2005
I didn't like this at all! It tasted like cream cheese in a roll. I was thinking it would be great because of all the rave reviews but was very disappointed.

Dilly Rye Boat Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2004
This is close to the same recipe our family has been making for years! I use parsly flakes instead of the celery salt and usually 2 TBSP of dill weed. It's easy and delicious. I'll be making it for a teachers luncheon. The best part is when most of the dip is gone and you get to eat the bread that has soaked up the dip, yum!!

Fudgy Brownies I

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2004
I followed this recipe almost all the way, except I took them out after 25 minutes. They were neither chewy or fudgy! They were very cake-like. I won't be making these again, sorry :(

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2004
I thought this was an easy recipe to make! I only used 3 cups of flour and didn't add the salt. I didn't realize until now that I was supposed to add 1 TBSP of vanilla, I added 1 tsp, that's okay they still tasted great!

Easy Company Chicken

Reviewed: May 15, 2003
I didn't have curry powder so I added garlic powder instead. I also used Chicken Broth instead of the cream soup because of being lactose intolerant. I removed the chicken breasts and thickened the broth into a sauce. It was delicious! I would definately make this easy recipe again.

Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Reviewed: May 10, 2003
I used a can of French onion soup instead of the dried soup. I cooked it for 17 hours, but will cook a little less because it was on the dry side. I had plenty for leftovers to be made into sandwiches!
