Rempel Family Meatloaf

Really great recipe. We don't eat beef so we substituted ground lean turkey and I was blown away by the intense flavor. It's great home cooking!!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Soooo easy to make and a great side dish for any day of the week.. Only downside to this recipe is the high fat content which might be lowered by switching to low fat ingredients...but will it taste as yummy??

Hot Mocha Drink Mix

Coffee flavor was a bit too strong for this mix but ended up having to use 4-5 Tablespoons, not teaspoons, to get any mocha flavor. Not sure I'd do this again.

White Chocolate Snack Mix

Mom's Baking Powder Biscuits

These were good but not great. I'm from the south and it's just hard to match some of the biscuits around here. These were fairly flat but had a nice crispness to them. Not quite sure I'd dip them in shortening again.

Spicy Turkey Chili

Really great recipe!!! I've made this a couple of times and wouldn't change a thing. If you're not keen on the beer, just remove it from the recipe, there is plenty of liquid from the tomato products.

Scones

Very basic recipe but good to experiment with. I brushed the scones with egg white and then sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on them.. Best to eat right away, don't store well.

Broccoli Casserole

Simply Great! Easy and inexpensive. Make it easy on yourself and get the processed cheese in a jar and not the block velveeta. The cream of mushroom soup was such a nice combination. Great with chicken!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Very good and hearty. Made plenty of leftovers. I cut the beer in half and used the ol' standard PBR. Came out fine.

Sweet Potato Casserole VI

Wayyyyyy to sweet for me. I have never tried canned sweet potatoes before and won't do it again. Fresh is much better. A bit too much brown sugar in this.

Chicken with Rice and Gravy

Pretty bland, not a lot of gravy produced, rice soaks everything up, better off making with mashed potatoes and doubling the gravy as well as the spices.
